An Ilocano Institution: born, raised and nurtured by the Ilocanos. Rang-ay Bank celebrated Sixty Five (65) years of Countryside Banking with a recognition and awarding programme participated by it’s 30 branches via teleconference. The event was held on January 16, 2021 at One Nisce Place (ONP) Events Hall, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The event started with an opening remarks from Chairman Ives Nisce who shares the success story of Rang-ay Bank growing from a one (1) unit bank with only four employee to thirty (30) strong branches and more than two hundred fifty strong manpower in the Ilocos & Cordillera Regions. One highlight of the event was the recognition and awarding of the top performing branches and Head Office units for the 2nd semester and for the whole year of 2020. Another highlight was the pinning of the newly promoted officers for their continuous dedication in achieving the bank’s mission and vision.
Part of the program was “Gunglo Iti Mannurat nga Ilokano” (GUMIL) La Union President Ms. Djuna Alcantara delivered a talk about the Iloko heritage, culture and language. President & CEO Ives Jesus Nisce II congratulated all the bankers for a successful 2020 despite the pandemic.
