BRANCHES CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARIES

Rang-ay Bank continues to celebrate its 63 years of Countryside Banking by engaging local communities with relevant social projects. Three of the twenty-nine branches of the biggest rural bank in Ilocos Region and Cordilleras commemorated their anniversaries by organizing community projects and conducting financial literacy trainings in their local communities.

Bangar, La Union Branch marked its 7th Anniversary by donating high visibility vests to tricycle drivers of Bangar Tricycle Operators and Drivers’ Association (TODA) at Hall of Liga ng mga Barangay, Bangar last March 8, 2019. The objective of the project is to ensure the safety of the tricycle drivers. The Financial Literacy briefing which followed impressed on the TODA members an awareness on the importance of financial management and savings. Rang-ay Bank team was led by Area Manager Winnie Mingaracal together with Bangar Branch Manager Eden Balongcas and the bank’s Marketing Team. TODA President Edward Fiocca, expressed his appreciation to Rang-ay Bank in behalf of the tricycle drivers.

Candon, Ilocos Sur Branch commemorated its 22nd Year serving the city by donating water dispensers to Candon City Hospital last March 27, 2019. Receiving the donation was Director Archimedes Mercado,MD in behalf of CCH. The bank team was led by Area Manager Rowena Rosales together with Candon Branch Manager Rosemarie Rigos and the HO Marketing Team. Marketing Officer Florence Joy Licudine also conducted a Financial Literacy briefing for the nurses & staff of the hospital to give awareness on the importance of saving for the future.  

  In observance of Balaoan, La Union Branch 13th Anniversary, the branch donated medals as gift to the graduates and awardees of Masupe, Balaoan Elementary School last April 2, 2019. The team led by Area Manager Winnie Mingaracal together with Balaoan Senior Branch Manager Leah Mantilla and Marketing Team introduced Rang-ay Bank and discussed the offered products and services of the bank. The team also conducted a Financial Literacy briefing for the parents, teachers and non-teaching Staff of the said school led by School Principal Connie Orfiano.
