BSP Piso Caravan in Partnership with Rang-ay Bank
- November 4, 2024
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and Rang-ay Bank recently completed a successful currency exchange initiative across several key branches of Rang-ay Bank. Piso Caravan is an innovative currency exchange initiative that facilitates the replacement of unfit and mutilated bank notes and coins, ensuring the integrity of the currency in circulation. By providing a convenient platform for individuals and businesses, Piso Caravan promotes financial inclusivity and supports the overall health of the economy.
The Piso Caravan has made significant strides, having already taken place in several branches across the North, including Bangui, Sinait, Dagupan, Rosales, Magsingal, Laoag, and Vigan. Each branch has managed the currency exchange activity effectively, ensuring a seamless experience for customers looking to replace unfit and mutilated bank notes and coins.
Rang-ay Bank is dedicated to involving all 31 branches in the BSP’s Piso Caravan Currency Exchange Program, actively fostering financial literacy within our community. Following the success of the Rang-ay Bank Ilocandia branches, the Cordillera Region is poised to be the next area of focus. Additionally, the Piso Caravan will still take place in select branches in the Ilocandia to continue serving the needs of the community.
