CYBER SECURITY WORKSHOP

Rang-ay Bank IT Associates Jayson Lamarca and Ricardo Oriente III attended a One-day Technical hands-on course “Dissecting Malware” on the 27th of May, 2017 at Global KMC (Knowledge Management Center), Beacon Plaza, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.
The Resource Speaker for the seminar was Mr. Semi Yulianto who discussed about Malware Analysis which focuses on how to prevent or countermeasure malware samples such as virus, worm, Trojan horse, root kits or backdoor that intend to harm operating system or to steal data from clients and the bank. Malware may include software that gathers user information without permission.
Rang-ay Bank continues to send staff and officers to seminars on cyber security to enhance the bank’s security system and to ensure protection of bank client information from cyber attacks, to hasten their skills on contingency planning, analyzing malware safely, and bypassing techniques.
