DONATION TO SPED CENTER

Rang-ay Bank San Fernando (La Union) Main Branch donated a Mini Library with books and toys to the indigent pupils of La Union Special Education (SPED) Center, North Central School, City of San Fernando on October 2, 2017 as part of its commitment to the community. Rang-ay Bank choose them as beneficiary of Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility Project because they are children with mental, emotional and physically disabilities that needs support and require a special setting for their education. The Mini Library was turned over to Mrs. Paragas the School Principal with the approval of the projects Mrs. Fatima R. Boado, the School Principal with the approval of the project Mrs. Fatima R. Boado, the School Division Superintendent. The objective of this project is to contribute to a fun learning experience for 49 children beneficiaries.
The program was spearheaded by Rang-ay Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer Flora M. Ignacio, Senior Main Branch Manager Thelma Evelyn A. Tabafunda, Main Branch Assistant Manager Flor Irene C. Valencia and Bank Consultant Leticia Asenci together with School Principal, the Officer In-Charge of Special Education (SPED) Center and some of the teachers of the said school, with the presence of the SPED pupils, Giveaways and simple snacks were distributed to the students during the program. They were so happy and thankful to Rang-ay Bank for choosing them as the bank’s beneficiary for its corporate social responsibility project.
