DAGUPAN BRANCH (PANGASINAN) 29TH ANNIVERSARY

Rang-ay Bank Dagupan City (Pangasinan) Branch celebrated its 29th anniversary last March 5, 2024 at Brgy. Pogo Grande Senior Citizen Association Office by donating monoblock chairs to the senior citizens of Brgy. Pogo Grande, Dagupan City.

Area Manager Joey Dingle, Dagupan Branch Operations Carol Ocampo and Marketing Officer Shakyla Atluna also conducted a financial literacy training to give the senior citizens a grasp of basic financial concepts and to equip them with knowledge and skills they need to manage money effectively.

2024 SUMMER OUTING

Rang-ay Bank officers and staff from Central Branches & Head Office departments/units eagerly anticipated their annual outing on April 9, 2024. This year, they ventured to the exhilarating PUGAD Adventure located in Pugo, La Union, Philippines.

Beneath the azure skies and palm-fringed shores of Coral Gate Beach Resort in Santiago, Ilocos Sur, the South Branches of Rang-ay Bank crafted unforgettable memories with an overnight stay on April 13th & 14th, 2024. From team-building games to refreshing dips, every moment echoed with laughter, camaraderie and the promise of cherished memories that will endure forever!

Amidst the tranquil waters and breathtaking vistas of Pangasinan’s Silver Concha, Rang-ay Bank’s South Branches embarked on an unforgettable summer voyage on April 9, 2024. From team-building adventures to refreshing swims, every moment was a testament to the bonds we share. Here’s to the laughter, camaraderie, and cherished memories that will last a lifetime!

BSP and Rang-ay Bank Peso Caravan

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and Rang-ay Bank Inc. held a currency exchange activity in San Fernando City Main branch, La Union last March 21, 2024.

The currency exchange counter at Rang-ay Bank (main office) opened on 21 March 2024 for those who wish to exchange unfit and mutilated currencies. The BSP together with Rang-ay Bank Inc. adopts a Clean Note and Coin Policy for the effective withdrawal of unfit and mutilated currencies in circulation as means to maintain the integrity of Philippine banknotes and coins.

The collaboration between the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and Rang-ay Bank Inc. underscores a broader commitment to maintaining the integrity and reliability of the Philippine monetary system. By implementing a Clean Note and Coin Policy, both institutions aim to ensure that only high-quality banknotes and coins are in circulation, promoting confidence in the country’s currency among businesses, consumers, and visitors alike.

Rang-ay Bank 68th Anniversary

“Rang-ay” is the Ilocano word for progress. Since the bank’s foundation in 1956, it has remained true to its name.  Rang-ay Bank celebrated its 68 Years of Countryside Banking with a recognition and awarding program participated by its  officers from 30 banking offices. The event was held at One Nisce Place (ONP) Events Hall in San Fernando City, La Union last January 27, 2024.

 The affair started with the opening remarks from Chairman Ives Nisce who recognized the bank’s accomplishments for 2023. He also delved into the historical roots that laid the foundation for Rang-ay Bank’s success. Chairman Ives also commended the bank’s golden generation for their invaluable contributions to the bank’s success in his message. President & CEO Ives Jesus Nisce II extended his       heartfelt congratulations to the entire Rang-ay Bank family for the outstanding success achieved and the accomplished targets in the year 2023. Also speaking in the program were Randy Christoph Berner, a Licensed Real Estate Broker and Appraiser, along with Ms. Glynis Salvatera-Balagot. They conducted a short workshop focusing on Sales and Marketing Skills, Techniques & Strategies. Additionally, they facilitated exercises that energized Rang-ay Bankers, fostering a renewed team spirit capable to meet 2024.

The event is not only a celebration of the bank’s 68 years of success but also an opportunity to recognize and award the             top-performing branches and head office units for 2023. Embodying the bank’s mission to hasten progress in the communities of the Ilocos Region and the Cordillera through accessible and affordable banking services and empowering North Luzon with globally competitive banking services.

Solar Panels for Rang-ay Agoo (LU)

Rang-ay Bank Agoo (LU) Branch embarked on a cutting-edge eco-friendly initiative by seamlessly integrating 19 solar panels last December 2023. This remarkable installation boasts a powerful 10.4 kW Hybrid Setup, featuring 10 kW Hybrid Ongrid/Offgrid Inverter, a high-capacity 10 kWHr Lifepo4 Battery, and 10.4 kW Mono Solar Panels. Elevating sustainability to new heights, this forward-thinking endeavor showcases our commitment to a greener and more environmentally conscious future.
 
Rang-ay Bank’s installation of Solar Panel is part of the bank’s commitment to sustainable development. By harnessing solar power, Rang-ay Bank Agoo is poised to lower its energy costs over time. The savings generated from the reduced electricity bills can be redirected towards supporting community initiatives or enhancing customer services, showcasing how sustainability aligns with financial prudence. The bank also finances installation of solar panels in homes and business establishments.
 
Rang-ay Bank Agoo (LU) branch has been serving the 2nd district of La Union since 2000. For 24 years the bank has been offering safe and secure deposit services such as: Basic Deposit Account, Regular Savings Account, Kiddie Savers, SSS Pensioner  Account, Time Deposit and Gold Savers 5.
