Supporting Farmers (Luna, LU)

Rang-ay Bank Luna Branch turned over Knapsack Sprayer, sacks of fertilizer and several packs of vegetable seeds to some farmers associations organized by the Department of Agriculture of Luna La Union at Luna Sports Center, Brgy. Alcala, Luna, La Union last July 07, 2023.
 
Area Manager Joey Dingle, Luna Branch Manager Shari Karen Torralba, Marketing Officer Shakyla Atluna together with the marketing team also conducted a financial literacy training to educate the farmers on the importance of savings, understand basic financial concepts and to equip them with knowledge and skills they need to manage money effectively. DA Head Mr. Jandy Castillo expressed his gratitude on behalf of the farmers and the department.

Orientation and AMLA Seminar 2023

Rang-ay Bank held an orientation and AMLA Seminar for recently hired employees, including those at the branches, last June 3, 2023, at the Head Office Conference Room in San Fernando City, La Union.
 
The event was attended by twenty-nine (29) employees from the Head Office and branches. The orientation aims to instill to this year’s new hirees the bank’s mission “To hasten progress in the communities of the Ilocos Region and Cordillera through accessible and affordable banking services.” Products and services, regulatory issuances, IT, HR, and security policies, Consumer Assistance, Financial Literacy, and Anti-Money Laundering (AMLA) were discussed during the said event.

Financial Literacy Training for the PNP Personnels

The San Fernando (LU) Main Branch of Rang-ay Bank was invited to conduct a financial literacy training for the PNP personnel of Bagulin, Burgos, and City of San Fernando last July 5, 2023.
 
Area Manager for Central Branches Thelma Evelyn Tabafunda, Marketing Officer Ealiane-joy Borja together with the marketing team conducted the training to give the PNP personnel a firmer understanding of the importance of savings, a grasp of basic financial concepts and to equip them with knowledge and skills they need to manage money effectively. Police Captain /Admin Officer Virgilio C. Bacani expressed thanks on behalf of PNP personnel.

70th RBAP Annual Convention 2023

Through the years, Rang-ay Bank actively extends a helping hand to the community by giving back to the people who have placed their trust in the bank.

Last November 27, 2020, Rang-ay Bank headed by Area Manager for Central Branches Thelma Tabafunda together with Security Officer Reggie Ordoño led a project with the DepED School Division Office-City of San Fernando Disaster Risk Reduction Management (SDO-CSF DRRM) Coordinator Ray Anton Rimas. The bank donated acrylic face shields and T-shirts to DRRM coordinators from different schools in the City of San Fernando, La Union. The turnover was held at Bangbangolan National High School (BNHS), City of San Fernando, La Union. The project aims to provide safety to the DepED Personel in performing their duties and responsibilities to our learners, schools and the community.

As fellow frontliners who serve the people of the countryside, Rang-ay Bank is optimistic that as we diligently follow the health protocols being implemented, we shall overcome this pandemic. The bank also believes that whatever challenges that may come, the spirit of Christmas will always stay.
