Rang-ay Bank, founded on January 16, 1956 under then Republic Act 720, otherwise known as the Rural Bank Act of 1953 was established to promote comprehensive rural development with the end in view of attaining equitable distribution of opportunities, income and wealth; a sustained increase in the amount of goods and services produced by the nation and expanding productivity as a key in raising the quality of life for all, especially the underprivileged. 10 SERVICE ACHIEVEMENT AWARDEES

Rang-ay Bank recognized five (5) Bank Officers from Head Office and branches for their invaluable contributions in helping Rang-ay Bank become the leading bank of its class in the Ilocos and Cordillera Regions through their 10 years of service. The awards were presented by Rang-ay Bank Chairman Ives Nisce together with Director Ivy Rose Nisce-Martinez and President CEO Ives Jesus Nisce during the annual Christmas Programme of the bank held last December 17, 2021.

The recognition program for the Service Achievement Awardees is the bank’s way to commend and acknowledge the Officers’ dedication, loyalty and service to Rang-ay Bank. Congratulations to all the awardees!

ALOHA ! PASCUA NGA NARANG-AY

Rang-ay Bankers, for the second straight year, celebrated it’s annual Christmas Programme ‘virtually’ last December 17, 2021 with the theme: “Aloha, Pascua nga naRang-ay”. Despite the restrictions due to the pandemic, Rang-ay Bankers still felt the essence of Christmas as all the Bankers from the Head Office and all 30 branches connected online in their colorful South Pacific attire.

This year’s Christmas celebration started with an e-Mass followed by a roll call of all bank branches and departments. A welcome address & Christmas message from Chairman Ives Q. Nisce jumpstarted the event.

The bank recognized the top performing bankers of the year. The awardees were Renalyn Murao (Female H.O Support Staff of the Year), Darwin Rimando (Male H.O Support Staf of the Year), Leah Joy Manaois (Bank Influencer of the Year), Gladys Trinah Corpuz (Rookie of the Year), Beverly Kim Abun (Teller/Cashier of the Year), Lornalyn Laita (Bank Associate of the Year for Loans), Jovel Foronda (Bank Associate of the Year for Deposit) and Juanito Guiron Jr. (Field Staff of the Year). Jojit Delizo of Tubao Branch (Guard of the Year) and Christian Peralta of Bangued Branch (Messenger of the Year) were also recognized.

Adding fun to the event were the pre recorded presentations coming from La Trinidad (B), San Juan (LU) and Sinait (IS) Branch which were viewed online. Christmas e-greetings by each branch and department were also shown at the program. President & CEO Ives Jesus Nisce II in his closing remarks expressed his warm congratulations to all Officers and staff for helping the bank continue our Mission and Vision to hasten progress in the communities of the Ilocos Region and Cordilleras and empowering North Luzon with globally competitive banking services in a year filled with unforeseen challenges brought about by the ongoing pandemic.

RANG-AY JOINS DTI FINANCING FORUM FOR MSMEs

Rang-ay Bank supported the Financing Forum for micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (mSMEs) last December 17, 2021 at Plaza Poblacion, Bacnotan, La Union. A project of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) with the Negosyo Center Bacnotan in promoting mSME growth and development by providing access to information, access to finance, access to market and access to training. This forum also aims to increase entrepreneurs’ awareness on sources of funding available for their own businesses.

Rang-ay Team led by Balaoan (LU) Senior Branch Manager Ma. Dulce Gonzalo together with Marketing Officer Florence Joy Licudine introduced Rang-ay Bank. They discussed the bank’s products and services giving emphasis to the mSME Business Loan Program for entrepreneurs. This loan program is available to businessmen or would-be entrepreneurs looking for additional capital and asset financing. This quick affordable loan program has very flexible terms to accommodate any business or commercial endeavor from start-up capital to revolving inventory loans to revolving credit lines.
