ARINGAY BRANCH RECEIVES SAFETY SEAL

Rang-ay Bank Aringay (La Union) Branch received the Safety Seal Certification after being assessed by the Safety Seal Inspection Team of Local Government Unit of Aringay last August 9, 2021.

The Safety Seal Inspection and Certification Team headed by SBM Josephine Dacanay and SBM Woodrow Araojo Jr., together with Mr. Gene Mamaril- Business Permits and Licensing Office Designate awarded the safety seal to Aringay Branch Manager Analyn Mendigoria at the branch premises.

The Safety Seal Certification Program is in accordance with IATF Resolution No. 87-s. 2020, DOLE -DOH-DILG DOT -DTI joint Memorandum Circular No. 21-01s, 2021, which aims to promote increased compliance of private and public establishments to the minimum public health protocols designed to help stop the covid pandemic in the country.

65 YEARS OF COUNTRYSIDE SERVICE

Throughout years, Rang-ay Bank continues to extend its helping hand to our local communities by giving back to the local people of Region I and Cordilleras who have placed their trust in the bank.

As part of the 65th Anniversary celebration of Rang-ay Bank, the bank donated CCTV surveillance system to La Union Police Provincial Office (LUPPO) in Camp Diego Silang, Carlatan, City of San Fernando, La Union last August 12, 2021. The team led by President & CEO Ives Jesus Nisce II together with Area Manager for Central Branches Thelma Evelyn Tabafunda, Security Officer Reggie Ordoño and the Marketing Unit turned over the donation to PNP Director Jonathan Calixto who expressed the gratitude of his command.

On August 23, 2021, Magsingal (Ilocos Sur) Branch celebrated 10 years of serving the people of Magsingal with the theme “Faith Begins with Sharing. Praise God with Hands of Help. Share The Faith. Share Your Blessings”. The bank donated 50 monoblock chairs and a projector set with screen to San Isidro Parish Church in San Juan, Ilocos Sur. The donations was received by Rev. Father Sergio Ganado Jr. and Parish Secretary Emilita Renon.

In Agoo La Union, Rang-ay expressed its love and care to the DSWD Home of Abused Girls in San Nicolas West, Agoo, La Union last September 2, 2021. The bank donated musical instruments including a drum set, an electric acoustic guitar, an amplifiers & a ukulele as well as beddings, pillows, blankets and bed sheets. Area Manager for South Branches Winnie Mingaracal together with Agoo Senior Branch Manager Joanna Timichan and Marketing Team turned over the donations and conducted a Financial Literacy Training focusing on Financial Planning to educate the girls on the importance of savings.

RANG-AY JOINS DTI IN CELEBRATING 2021 NATIONAL MSME WEEK

Rang-ay Bank supports the micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development (mSMED) Council, with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in the celebration of the National mSME Week 2021 from August 2 to 6 with the theme, “Makabagong mSMEs, Bagong Pag-asa Laban sa Pandemya.”

In the Province of La Union, various activities were held to institute continuing awareness of the primacy of mSMEs in nation-building. The Rang-ay team participated in the Financing Forum conducted by DTI-La Union held at CSI Atrium, City of San Fernando, La Union last July 13, 2021, which was attended by businessmen and women all over the province. Area Manager for South Branches Winnie Mingaracal together with Marketing Officer Florence Joy Licudine discussed the bank’s products and services emphasizing the bank’s mSME Business Loan Program designed for entrepreneurs.

Rang-ay Bank believes in local business and active compliance with Republic Act 9501 or the “Magna Carta for micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (mSMEs)” mandating allocation of credit resources for mSME’s. The bank exceeded the 10% mandatory compliance set by the law with 71.33% of its loan portfolio lent to mSME’s and agri-businesses as of December 31, 2020.

RANG-AY CARES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS

Rang-ay Bank Bangui (Ilocos Norte) and San Fernando Highway (La Union) branches celebrated both their 3rd Anniversaries with the senior citizens in their respective towns last May 6 and June 24, 2021.

Rang-ay Bangui distributed health kits containing face masks, face shields, alcohol and hand soaps to the Federation of Senior Citizens of Bangui. Office of the Senior Citizens Association (OSCA) Head Ms. Rosal Ragasa and Federation President Ms. Imelda Sales expressed their appreciation to Rang-ay Bank on behalf of more than 2,000 members of the federation for showing their love and care to the seniors of the northernmost town that Rang-ay serves.

Highway (La Union) Branch also distributed health kits with vitamins to the senior citizens of Brgy. II, City of San Fernando, La Union. Association President Marcial Estolas expressed his sincerest gratitude to Rang-ay Bank on behalf of the senior citizens of Brgy. II for the donation that will provide added protection to the elders against the threat of the Covid-19 virus.
