STRATEGIC PLANNING WORKSHOP FOR 2022
Rang-ay Bank conducted its Strategic Planning Workshop for 2022 in multiple venues in Ilocos Sur and La Union in October and November 2021. As Covid-19 pandemic still exist, health protocols were strictly implemented during the sessions to ensure the safety of the Officers.
North Branches held their Strategic Planning sessions at Port Adventure in San Esteban, Ilocos Sur last October 23, 2021 attended by the Senior Managers and Branch Managers of the 13 branches in the North Area. On the same day South Branches with 12 branches conducted their workshop at Marand Resort & Spa, Baccuit, Bauang, La Union. While on October 30, 2021, Head Office departments & units successfully conducted their workshop at Plaza de Castiel Hotel & Spa, Urbiztondo, San Juan, La Union. At the same venue, Central Branches also held their workshop last November 6, 2021.
The events served to set priorities, focus energy and resources, strengthen operations, ensure that the Officers and Staff are working toward common goals, establish agreement around intended targets, and assess and adjust the organization’s objectives for 2022 and beyond.
As Chairman Ives Nisce said in his closing remarks, “if you fail to plan, that is a plan to fail” that is why Rang-ay Bank continues to organize Strategic Workshops for the Officers to review the bank’s operations and align its medium and long term targets. It also allows the company to be proactive to anticipate future needs and prepare accordingly. Strategic Planning also helps officers to define their goals for 2022 while keeping track of their accomplishments for this year.
ANNUAL CONFIRMATION OF PENSIONERS PROGRAM
he Annual Confirmation Of Pensioners (ACOP) Program is back! All Retirement (residing abroad), Total Disability and Survivor Pensioners, as well as their Dependent Children (minor or incapacitated) and Guardians, must comply with the ACOP starting October 1, 2021 until March 31, 2022.
Compliance can be done via e-mail, dropbox, or video conference (for those abroad) – no need for face to face transactions or for pensioners to leave their homes.
Pensioners need to comply with ACOP Program to ensure that the beneficiaries continue to received their pensions and it also guarantees the Social Security Fund by ensuring that the benefits are paid out only to eligible beneficiaries. ACOP form (Pensioners Reply) can be downloaded from the SSS Website (www.sss.gov.ph).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAIRMAN IVES
Rang-ay Bankers celebrated the 68th birthday of Chairman Ives Nisce last October 15, 2021 with the theme “ Blue Jeans and Facemask Party”. The celebration held at the bank’s Conference Hall at 30% capacity with more branch employees participating via Zoom.
The celebration started with an e-Mass at Rang-ay Head Office 4th floor followed by an online roll-call of the branches. The e-Greetings from all the branches and Head Office units were shown. Adding fun to the celebration were the performance of Magsingal Branch and live presentations from Baguio Branch & CMU-RMU Department. Bacnotan Branch was adjudged as Best in e-Greetings while CMU-RMU Department won Best in Presentation.
A major highlight of the event was the recognition of the top performing Clusters, Branch & HO Unit for the 1st Semester of 2021. Dagupan Cluster (Dagupan & Rosales Branches) was awarded as the Top Performing Cluster while Accounting Department & Office of the Area Manager (South) received the President’s Award during the 1st Semester of 2021.
MORE BRANCHES RECEIVE SAFETY SEALS
Rang-ay Bank branches in Sta. Lucia (Ilocos Sur), Dingras (Ilocos Norte), Rosario (La Union) and Aringay (La Union) received their respective Local Government Unit (LGU) Safety Seal Certifications. These branches successfully complied with all the public health standards and contact tracing requirements.
Meanwhile the Head Office and seven (7) more branches of Rang-ay including Main Branch, SF Downtown, SF Highway, Tubao and Bangar in La Union, Bangui (IN) and Magsingal (IS) have already complied with all the requirements and waiting for the release of their safety seal certificates.
The Safety Seal Certification Program is in accordance with Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Resolution No. 87-s. 2020, DOLE -DOH-DILG DOT -DTI joint Memorandum Circular No. 21-01s, 2021, which promotes increased compliance of private and public establishments to the minimum public health protocols designed to help stop the covid pandemic in the country and safely open the economy.
