Seven (7) of the twenty-nine (29) branches of Rang-ay Bank celebrated their anniversaries by conducting community projects and financial literacy trainings in their respective communities in the second semester of 2019.

Rang-ay Bank and the Landbank of the Philippines (LBP) strengthened decades of partnership last October 17, 2019 at the bank’s Head Office in San Fernando City, La Union.
Rang-ay Bank received the Gawad Pilak Award from LBP in recognition of 25 years of continued partnership. The award was presented by LBP Assistant VP Adeline Ramos, Department Managers Jesus Allegre (LBP SFC), Elizelda Calica (LBP Agoo), Ferdinand Palaganas (LBP Bauang) and Account Officer Janyfi Cisnero. On hand to receive the award were Rang-ay Bank President & CEO Ives Jesus Nisce II, Sr. Remedial Management Manager Nina Francisca Palabay and Credit Management Officer Kaye Ann Culbengan. “PILAK” stands for “Pagkilala sa mga Institusyon at Indibidwal na Lumingap sa mga Adhikain para sa Kaunlaran”.
In addition to the award, the bank signed an enhanced Rediscounting Line Agreement with Landbank last December 7, 2019. The improved rediscounting line allows Rang-ay Bank to enhance affordable credit facilities and financial services to farmers and fisherfolks, public and private workers, land owners, rural entrepreneurs, real estate developers and OFW’s. With the bank’s low-interest rate on loans couple with longer terms, home owners looking for credit can avail Rang-ay Pabahay Loan Program either for purchase of house and lot, construction or renovation of their existing house. mSME’s and agri-entrepreneurs can avail of Rang-ay Bank flexible mSME business loans.
PARTNERSHIP IN EDUCATION

Rang-ay Bank Director Flora Ignacio and Area Manager for Central Branches Thelma Evelyn Tabafunda received a plaque of recognition from the Schools Division Office-City of San Fernando, La Union headed by CESO V Rowena Banzon as a partner in the improvement and delivery of education in the city last November 8, 2019 at San Fernando South Central Integrated School, Tanqui, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The plaque of recognition was awarded to institutions who contribute and participate in the different programs, projects and activities of the Department of Education.
Part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects of Rang-ay Bank, is active involvement in the annual Brigada Eskwela of various public schools in the different provinces where its 29 branches are located: Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, La Union, Benguet and Pangasinan. COMMUNITY PROJECTS

Two Rang-ay Bank Offices celebrated their anniversaries by organizing community projects in their respective communities in October 2018. Rang-ay Bank Rosales (Pangasinan) Branch celebrated its 9th Anniversary by supporting the Mini Buntis Congress conducted by the Rural Health Unit (RHU) held at Alcala Public Auditorium, Alcala, Pangasinan last October 8, 2018. Alcala is a 3rd class municipality located at the southern part of Pangasinan.
Rang-ay Bank led by Area Manager Winnie Mingaracal together with Rosales Senior Branch Manager Alsandy, Galvan and Head Office Marketing Staff donated maternal kits and provided snacks to indigent pregnant women from different barangays of Alcala. Consultant on Local Administration Eufrocinio Catalan, Municipal Health Officer Dr. Shirante Parayno and the beneficiaries expressed their thanks and appreciation to Rang-ay Bank.
Rang-ay Bank Naguilian (La Union) Branch marked its 12th year of service by donating relief goods to indigent families who were affected by the Typhoon Ompong last October 10, 2018 at Brgy San Antonio, Naguilian, La Union. Area Manager for Central Branches Thelma Tabafunda together with Naguilian Branch Manager Karen Valdez and Head Office Marketing staff reached the remote barangay of San Antonio with the assistance of the Municipal Social Welfare Development Office of LGU Naguilian and the Barangay Officials of San Antonio. Barangay Chairman Cristan Nisperos expressed gratitude to Rang-ay Bank in behalf of the families that were benefited by the project.
