IQN’s COLORFUL BIRTHDAY

Rang-ay Bank celebrated the colorful birthday of Chairman Ives Nisce at Rose Bowl Restaurant, Bauang, La Union last October 12, 2019 with the theme: Colorful Life of IQN. More than 200 bankers from 29 branches of the bank attended the event.

Chairman Ives has led the bank for over four (4) decades and transformed the single unit bank he took over from his father, the late Atty. Rodolfo Nisce, to 29 branches in the six (6) provinces of Region I and Cordilleras. Inspired by the mission of the banks’ founders, that fueled Rang-ay Bank’s continued growth, it has become and continues to be the biggest bank in its class in the whole Ilocos and Cordillera Regions.

The celebration started with a liturgical mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Roberto Collado followed by welcome remarks from President & CEO Ives Jesus Nisce II and an Audio Visual Presentation (AVP) of Rang-ay Bank’s year in review. One highlight of the event is the tribute ceremony for Marlyn Ubaldo and Minerva Picar for their more than 3 decades of dedicated and loyal service to the bank. The bank also recognized the newly promoted officers and the excellent performances of outstanding employees for the 1st semester of 2019.

Awards were also given to the top performers of the 1st semester of 2019. Another highlight of the event were the dance presentations coming from Candon Cluster, Dagupan-Rosales branches and Head Office new hirees, exciting games plus a raffle draw.

RANG-AY BANKERS VISIT THAILAND

A three day adventure to Thailand, which started on August 24 and ended August 26, 2019 was awarded to the two best performing departments in the Head Office plus Rosales Branch, the top Rang-ay Bank Branch in 2018.

The first spot upon arrival was the Gems Factory which showcased the various gems and minerals of Thailand. Then in the evening they enjoyed the Siam Niramit Theater where they experienced the theatrical cultural presentation of the history of Thailand. On the second day the team enjoyed the Chang Puak Elephant Camp and a sampan tour around the popular Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. They were also entertained by a magic, crocodile and elephant show at the Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo.

STRATEGIC PLANNING FOR 2020

Rang-ay Bank conducted its 2020 Strategic Planning in a three (3) day workshop at Sunset View Ridge Residences in the cool weather of Baguio City last August 24 to 26, 2019.

The workshop was attended by the members of the Bank’s Board of Directors, Consultant, Head Office Managers and Senior Officers from the twenty nine branches of the bank in the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, Benguet, La Union and Pangasinan.

The event served as an activity to set priorities, focus energy and resources, strengthen operations, ensure that employees and other stakeholders are working toward common goals, establish agreement around intended outcomes/results, and assess and adjust the organization’s objectives for 2020 and beyond.

CREBA RECOGNITION AND AWARDS NIGHT 2019

The Chamber of Real Estate and Builders’ Association (CREBA) La Union conducted its Recognition and Awards Night last September 27, 2019 at Oasis Country Resort, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Rang-ay Bank President and CEO Ives Jesus Nisce II received a Presidential Award of Distinction in grateful recognition for his invaluable support, contribution and commitment to CREBA-La Union Chapter. Rang-ay Bank also received a plaque of appreciation in recognition for its generosity to the CREBA as a major sponsor of the club for the past three (3) years.

CREBA is an associations of the real estate, housing and construction industry. CREBA is the recognized umbrella organization of some 4,000 firms, individuals and associations directly or indirectly involved in land and housing, construction, allied industries and various professional fields of discipline. Rang-ay Bank supports the housing sector by providing banking services such as development loans to Subdivision Developers, Housing Contractors and Pabahay Loans to homeowners.
