IQN’s BIRTHDAY FIESTA

Rang-ay Bank celebrated the birthday of President & CEO Ives Q. Nisce at Rose Bowl Restaurant, Pagdalagan Sur, Bauang La Union with the theme “Let’s Fiesta!” last October 13, 2018. More than 200 Rang-ay Bankers from Rang-ay’s 29-branch network attended wearing their best festival costume.
Rang-ay Bank top man Ives Q. Nisce has led the bank for over Four Decades and parlayed the single unit bank he took over from his father the late Atty. Rodolfo Nisce to 29 banking units with branches in 6 provinces of Region I and the Cordilleras. Inspired by the mission of the bank’s founders, that fueled Rang-ay Bank’s continued growth, it has become and continues to be the biggest bank in its class in the whole of the Ilocos and the Cordillera.

The event started with a liturgical mass led by Rev.Fr. Roberto Collado followed by Dra. Ivy Rose Nisce-Martinez for the welcome remarks and an Audio Visual Presentation delivering birthday messages to the celebrant. One highlight of the celebration was the presentation of Service Achievement Awards to Ernesto Casison, Leticia Asenci and Marcelo Ofiaza for their more than 30 years of dedicated and loyal service to the bank. The bank likewise recognized the excellent performances of outstanding officers and staff for the first semester of 2018. The awardees were cited for their excellent performance during the first two quarters of 2018.
Another highlight of the event was the festival dance presentations coming from three groups; the North Branches Officers, South Branches staff and the Head Office new hirees. Fun & games followed plus a raffle to cap the celebration.





SSS 2018 BEST COLLECTING PARTNER BANK

The Balikat ng Bayan Awards, established in 1995, is the annual recognition program of the Social Security System (SSS) for partners who have helped achieve its mandate. It is the SSS’s way of acknowledging the value of its partnerships with other sectors for their unwavering support to the programs of the government body.
The 2018 Balikat ng Bayan Best Collecting Partner Rural Bank is awarded to Rang-ay Bank, for being the nation’s top rural bank with the highest collections while processing a large volume of SSS transactions throughout it’s wide area network.
The National Award was presented by SSS President and CEO Emmanuel Dooc, Sen. Richard Gordon and Incoming SSS Chair Aurora Cruz Ignacio to Rang-ay Bank Vice-President Ives Jesus Nisce II during the SSS 61st Anniversary Celebration and National Awarding held at SSS Building, East Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City last September 21, 2018.
Rang-ay Bank offers Pensioner Deposit accounts for SSS pensioners with their pensions directly deposited to their respective accounts. The bank also accepts SSS contributions and loan payments in all of its 29 branches. The bank can also retrieve and generate payment reference number (PRN) for SSS Members as part of SSS new Electronic Payment Collection. As an additional service, pensioner depositors can get instant emergency loans from the bank.

COOPERATIVE BANK OF COTABATO ‘LAKBAY ARAL’

Rang-ay Bank hosted members of the board and officers of the Cooperative Bank of Cotabato at the bank’s Head Office last July 5, 2019. The Coop Bank of Cotabato has it’s head office in Kidapawan City, North Cotabato.
President & CEO Ives Jesus Nisce II introduced the bank and presented its company profile. I.T Manager Francis De Los Santos also discussed the new cloud based Core Banking System (CBS) which Rang-ay Bank is presently testing in parallel. He shared learnings during the migration and parallel run of the new CBS.

IQN’s COLORFUL BIRTHDAY

RANG-AY BANKERS VISIT THAILAND

A three day adventure to Thailand, which started on August 24 and ended August 26, 2019 was awarded to the two best performing departments in the Head Office plus Rosales Branch, the top Rang-ay Bank Branch in 2018.
The first spot upon arrival was the Gems Factory which showcased the various gems and minerals of Thailand. Then in the evening they enjoyed the Siam Niramit Theater where they experienced the theatrical cultural presentation of the history of Thailand. On the second day the team enjoyed the Chang Puak Elephant Camp and a sampan tour around the popular Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. They were also entertained by a magic, crocodile and elephant show at the Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo.
