Housing Program with Home Guarantee Corporation
Rang-ay Bank further strengthened its commitment to continuous learning and service excellence by conducting a re-training program for its officers and staff in partnership with the Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PhilGuarantee), formerly the Home Guarantee Corporation (HGC). The sessions highlighted loan guarantees, risk management, and housing finance support—equipping employees with updated knowledge and strategies to better provide housing loans to the people.
Rang-ay Bank President and CEO emphasized that the bank offers housing loans for a wide range of purposes—whether for the purchase of a new home, construction of a house, renovation, or extension of an existing home. In 2024 alone, the bank released a total of ₱108 million in housing loans, a testament to its role in supporting homeownership. PhilGuarantee likewise expressed its support for the collaboration, underscoring the importance of rural bank partnerships in promoting financial inclusion, supporting MSMEs, and advancing housing security across Region I and CAR.
