PASKUA NGA NARANG-AY 2020

For the first time in the bank’s history, Rang-ay Bank celebrated the holiday season via a virtual Christmas Programme last December 18, 2020. Despite the restrictions due to the pandemic, the bankers still felt the essence of Christmas as all the Rang-ay Bankers from Head Office and 30 branches connected online.

This year’s Christmas celebration started with an e-mass followed by the welcome remarks and christmas message from Chairman Ives Nisce. In his message, he expressed his gratitude for all the blessings and success the bank received this year. He also recognized everyone’s hardwork and dedication to serve the countryside during the entire quarantine period of ECQ, MECQ & GCQ caused by Covid-19 pandemic.

One of the highlights of the event was the recognition of long serving Rang-ay Bankers with a special service achievement award. The awardees were Vice President for Credit & Remedial Management Nina Francisca Palabay who celebrated forty (40) years of service. Other service achievement awardees who served the bank for ten (10) years were Security Officer Reggie Ordoño, Rosales Senior Branch Manager Alsandy Galvan, Sta Cruz Branch Manager Jane Castillo, Baguio Branch Officer Odessa Saldo and Aringay Branch Manager Analyn Mendigoria.

The bank also awarded the top performing bankers of the year. The awardees were Sheila May Teodoro of Credit Management Unit (Bank Influencer Awardee & Female Support Staff of the Year), Michael Paras of IT Department (Male Support Staff of the Year), Anabel Agpuldo of Magsingal Branch (Rookie of the Year), Rodason Lubina of Tagudin Branch (Teller/Cashier of the Year), Ely Rose Rasay of Dingras Branch (Loan Assistant of the Year), Sheila Mae Nones of Luna Branch (Deposit Assistant of the Year) and Placido Tolentino of Agoo Branch (Field Staff of the Year). Nilbert Gabel of Sta. Lucia Branch (Guard of the Year) was also recognized.

Adding fun to the program were the presentations coming from IT & Security Department, Rosario Branch and Candon Cluster who all performed live at their respective offices which were viewed online. Christmas e-greetings by each branch and department were also shown at the event. President & CEO Ives Jesus Nisce II in his closing remarks expressed his warm congratulations to all Officers and staff for helping the bank continue our Mission and Vision to hasten progress in the communities of the Ilocos Region and Cordilleras and empowering North Luzon with globally competitive banking services in a year filled with unforeseen challenges brought about by the ongoing pandemic
