1. What is the OS and OS version requirement for using the Mobile App?

2. Can I install the Rang-ay Bank Mobile Banking App on multiple smartphone devices?
You can only use one device and simultaneous login is not allowed.
3. How can I request a new PIN if forgotten?
Just simply click reset button and reactivate your account on the mobile application and nominate your new pin.
4. What should I do if my device gets stolen or gets lost?

5. Can I access the Rang-ay Bank Mobile Banking App outside the Philippines?
The App is accessible anywhere provided there is an internet connection available. Financial transactions will require a One-Time Password (OTP) to be
sent to your registered Philippine mobile number. If you are out of the country and have activated your local mobile telco provider’s roaming services, corresponding charges will apply for receiving OTP and/or SMS alerts while you are out of the country.
6. Why am I being logged out of the App?
An added security feature of the Rang-ay Bank Mobile App is the session timeout. This means that our system automatically logs you out of the app if you have left your session idle for a certain period.
7. All financial transactions will require OTP?
Yes, all transactions will require OTP to protect the user from unauthorized transactions. OTP will be sent to your registered phone.
8. Is the app secured?
• The app is supported with 6 digit PIN and a biometrics credentials to confirm the authorize access of the app.
• Transaction limits are in place and Instapay transactions are secured and encrypted.
• The app is currently enrolled with ePLDT’s Vulnerability Management as-a-Service (VMaaS) to monitor possible threats and prevent potential security incidents.

9. How can I deactivate my mobile banking?
There are two types of deactivation, permanent deactivation and temporary deactivation.Temporary deactivation, also known as device deactivation, will allow the user to disable the mobile banking app on the particular mobile device. Other device where the app is installed can still access the service. To do this, tap the Settings option on the lower part of the dashboard screen and select Deactivate Device.
For permanent deactivation, please visit the branch where you opened your account and request for the permanent deactivation of the mobile banking service. You will be asked to present a valid ID, fill-out and sign a form. The service will be disabled within 24 hours.
III. LIMITATIONS
1. Only existing account holders can register on the mobile application.
2. Online onboarding for new clients is not available.
3. Face recognition is not supported in logging-in on the mobile banking.
IV. REMINDERS
1. Go to the branch where you opened your account and update your Customer Account and Registration Form (CARF) including your phone number and
email to be able to get access on the Rang-ay Bank mobile application.
2. Do not click any suspicious links through SMS, emails and any messaging app channels asking for personal information. Phishing attempts often mimic legitimate sources to trick users into providing sensitive data or downloading malicious software.
3. Update your apps regularly. Updates often contain patches for newly discovered security vulnerabilities.
