Rang-ay Bank formally opened its 26th branch in Sinait, Ilocos Sur on October 18, 2017. The newest bank branch is located along the North National Highway at the Ground Floor of the Sinait Public Market.
The inauguration started with cutting of the ribbon which was led by Association of Barangay Captains President Christian Yoro, Social Welfare Officer Marites Ines, former PRC Board of Dentistry Chair Dr. Rose Canlas-Nisce and Rang-ay Bank President Ives Q. Nisce. Rev. Fr. Lovell Soller of St. Nicolas Parish Church led the blessing ceremony.
Rang-ay President Ives Q. Nisce in his opening remarks stated that the event marks another milestone for the bank. Sinait Branch is the 9th branch of Rang-ay Bank in the province of Ilocos Sur and 26th overall.
Already with the widest branch network in the Ilocos and Cordillera Regions, the bank will soon open one more new branch for a total of 27 by the end of the year. These are full service branches and will offer a complete line of banking services from deposits, loans, receipt of SSS premiums and payment of SSS pensions, instant salary loans, bills payment plus local and international remittance services. Sinait is a third class municipality in the province of Ilocos Sur and is the northernmost town of the province.
Aside from Sinait Branch, Rang-ay also established eight other branches in province of Ilocos Sur, in the towns of Tagudin, Sta Cruz, Sta. Lucia, Burgos, Narvacan, Magsingal and cities of Candon and Vigan. Since its establishment in San Fernando, La Union 61 years ago, Rang-ay has grown to be the largest bank in it’s class in the north by consistently maintaining its No. 1 rank in the key areas of the total assets, deposits, and capital.
