Roadshow Unites Region I & CAR Bankers

The Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines (RBAP) successfully held the Angel Network Roadshow for Region I and the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) on May 26 & 27, 2025, at Awesome Hotel in San Juan, La Union. The two-day event brought together rural bankers and industry partners to foster stronger connections and encourage collaboration in uplifting countryside banking. Region I and CAR are home to 46 rural banks, part of over 400 rural banks across the country.

Distinguished speakers from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) delivered timely insights through the Economic and Financial Learning Outreach, the Technology Risk and Innovation Supervision Department, and the Financial Inclusion Office. Representatives from the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC), along with partners from the FinTech and motor vehicle industries, also shared updates and presentations relevant to the rural banking sector.

Rang-ay Bank joined fellow rural banks in this meaningful event, reaffirming its active role in supporting initiatives that promote growth, resilience, and inclusive progress. Rang-ay Bank President and CEO Ives Jesus Nisce II also participated in the roadshow, further underscoring the bank’s leadership and dedication to rural banking advancement.
