As part of Rang-ay Bank’s alignment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly the goal on affordable and Clean Energy, the Bank has partnered with 3P-J Solar Products Trading and Northern Sun Solar Services. This initiative promotes wider access to solar energy by offering  financing at competitive prime rates, enabling households and businesses to transition to cleaner and more efficient power solutions.
  
In line with the expansion of its green financing initiatives, Rang-ay Bank is also actively exploring additional partnerships with solar power providers across Region 1 to further broaden access to renewable energy. This ongoing effort underscores the Bank’s commitment to scaling sustainable financing and supporting the region’s shift toward cleaner energy systems.
 
 

Financial Literacy for Laoag City Police

Rang-ay Bank Laoag Branch conducted a financial literacy session for personnel of the Laoag Police Station on March 11, 2026, highlighting the importance of financial readiness as part of overall mission readiness.

The session was led by Marketing Officer Zi Dean Tagayuna, together with Laoag Branch Manager Joan Mae Asia, Area Manager Dennis Dosono, and the marketing team. They covered essential topics such as smart saving, the benefits of formal banking, and practical financial decision-making for long-term stability.

This initiative reflects Rang-ay Bank’s commitment to promoting financial empowerment across all sectors, in line with its 70th Anniversary celebration.

Financing of Public Utility Vehicles (PITCO)

Rang-ay Bank conducted a product presentation for the Pan Ilocandia Transport Cooperative (PITCO) on March 28, 2026 at Patac, Sto. Tomas, La Union. PITCO, based in Aringay, La Union, is a transport cooperative composed of over two hundred bus drivers and operators, providing public transport services across La Union and nearby provinces.
 
The presentors were Senior Branch Manager of Agoo, Marichu Pasag, together with Marketing Officer Shakyla Atluna, Area Manager for South Joey Dingle, and the  marketing team. During the presentation, Rang-ay Bank introduced a comprehensive suite of financial products and services tailored to meet the needs of transport operators. These offerings aim to provide financial support for motor vehicle acquisition, maintenance, business expansion, and day-to-day operational requirements of drivers, conductors, and bus operators.
 
 
The initiative highlighted the Bank’s commitment to empowering the transport sector by making relevant financial solutions more accessible.
