2025 Strategic Planning Workshop and Team Building

Rang-ay Bank’s leadership team convened at Minoahs Private Resort in Bauang, La Union, for Day 1 of its Strategic Planning Workshop last October 27, 2024, with Day 2 held on November 17, 2024, at Venus Parkview Hotel in Baguio City. These sessions laid out the bank’s vision and goals for 2025 and beyond.

With a focus on enhancing client experiences, expanding digital solutions, and strengthening community ties, leaders engaged in forward-thinking discussions inspired by the scenic settings. BSP Piso Caravan in Partnership with Rang-ay Bank

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and Rang-ay Bank recently completed a successful currency exchange initiative across several key branches of Rang-ay Bank. Piso Caravan is an innovative currency exchange initiative that facilitates the replacement of unfit and mutilated bank notes and coins, ensuring the integrity of the currency in circulation. By providing a convenient platform for individuals and businesses, Piso Caravan promotes financial inclusivity and supports the overall health of the economy.

 

              The Piso Caravan has made significant strides, having already taken place in several branches across the North, including Bangui, Sinait, Dagupan, Rosales, Magsingal, Laoag, and Vigan. Each branch has managed the currency exchange activity effectively, ensuring a seamless experience for customers looking to replace unfit and mutilated bank notes and coins.

 

Rang-ay Bank is dedicated to involving all 31 branches in the BSP’s Piso Caravan Currency Exchange Program, actively fostering financial literacy within our community. Following the success of the Rang-ay Bank Ilocandia branches, the Cordillera Region is poised to be the next area of focus. Additionally, the Piso Caravan will still take place in select branches in the Ilocandia to continue serving the needs of the community.

Chairman Ives Birthday Celebration

            On October 12, 2024, the Rang-ay Bank team came together at Rosebowl Restaurant in Bauang, La Union, to celebrate a significant milestone: the birthday of our esteemed Chairman. This gathering not only marked a personal celebration but also highlighted the strong sense of community and camaraderie within our organization.

             The event was filled with energy and joy, featuring performances from talented team members and engaging activities that brought everyone together. The lively roll-call was a particular highlight, showcasing the vibrant spirit of our Rang-ay Bank family.

                The Chairman’s birthday program also had a portion that recognized the Top Performing Rang-ay Bankers of the 1st Semester of 2024. The bank’s performers were given plaque, certificates and cash incentives.  

 

 

Rang-ay Youth Volleyball Team

 In celebration of International Youth Day 2024, Rang-ay Bank proudly sponsored a team in the Nisce Volleyball League 2024, a two-day event that brought together young athletes from across the city. Held last August 12-13, 2024, the league showcased the talents and sportsmanship of the youth, promoting physical fitness and teamwork. The event, which was a resounding success, underscores Rang-ay Bank’s  commitment to supporting youth development and community engagement, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition among the participants. The Rang-ay Bank sponsored a team composed of youths from all over San Fernando, La Union and winning 3rd place in the   volleyball league 

BSP Piso Caravan Narvacan (IS) Branch

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) San Fernando, La Union Branch and Rang-ay Bank Inc. held a currency exchange activity in the bank’s Narvacan Branch inauguration and blessing last August 22, 2024.

  The activity gave an opportunity to the bank to help, not only to assist the BSP, but also the public, especially the businesses, market vendors and the public of Narvacan town. The collaboration between the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and Rang-ay Bank gained positive feedback from the locals. As a result of the said activity, more than P160 thousand unfit coins and bills was exchanged with new generation bills and coins. This accentuates the commitment of both BSP and Rang-ay bank to promote Clean Note and Coin Policy ensuring that high quality bank notes are in circulation promoting confidence among businesses and consumers in the locality.

                Rang-ay Bank commits all its 31 branches to participate in Piso Caravan Currency Exchange Program of the BSP to continuously support and initiate financial literacy in our community. With this, Rang-ay Bank plans to extend the Piso Caravan Currency Exchange Program to its branches in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, and Benguet.
